HOW TO CHOOSE GRAVEL WHEELS

Gravel riding demands the perfect balance between performance, comfort, and control. The choice of rim and tire directly influences speed, grip, and confidence on varied terrain.
GRAVEL WHEELS GUIDE
RIM
Regarding rim depth, 30 to 45 mm profiles offer the best compromise between aerodynamics, weight, and handling. A 30 mm rim will be better suited to acceleration and mountainous terrain, while a 45 mm profile will provide greater efficiency on long, flat sections.
WIDTH
For modern gravel riding, we recommend an internal rim width between 25 and 27 mm. This dimension optimizes the tire profile, improves cornering stability, and increases comfort at low pressures.
TIRE
To fully exploit these characteristics, we recommend tires with a width of 40 to 50 mm, with an ideal range between 42 and 45 mm. This combination maximizes performance while maintaining excellent vibration damping.
