RIM
Rim depth plays a different role than on road or gravel bikes. Profiles of 20 to 30 mm are preferred to maintain excellent levels of comfort, precision, and impact resistance.
WIDTH
For Cross-Country and Down-Country riding, we recommend an internal width between 28 and 30 mm. For Trail and All-Mountain riding, a width of 30 to 33 mm allows you to fully utilize high-volume tires.
TIRE
Tires from 2.2" to 2.6" currently represent the best compromise between performance, grip, and control. Combined with a modern carbon rim, they offer precise handling on technical sections while maintaining excellent pedaling efficiency.
